Blake Shelton’s New Album Based On A True Story

New Album In March!

New Album In March!

After releasing the fastest rising single of his career with “Sure Be Cool If You Did,” Blake Shelton has announced details behind his next album – Based On A True Story. Blake is hoping his gig on NBC’s The Voice will get new, younger fans interested in his new music. “That’s exciting to me – it always is! Anytime I am anywhere and somebody has a teenage kid who wants to meet me, it’s like, ‘Oh thank God!’ You don’t want to be at that point where they are like, ‘No I don’t want a picture with him. He is old and creepy!”  The 12-track album Based On A True Story will be available on March 26th, the same day Blake will perform on NBC’s The Today show. Make sure to catch the singer on his Ten Times Crazier Tour this summer, which is also the name of a track on his new album. It kicks off on July 19th in Virginia Beach, with special guests Jana Kramer and Easton Corbin.
