The Band Perry is slowly but surely giving fans more details about their highly-anticipated sophomore album! The trio shared the album’s artwork through social media yesterday (2/14), and also announced that the project will be titled, Pioneer. Band member Neil Perry has had a love for photography for quite a while, and the group mentioned that they turned some of the creative decisions over to him for Pioneer. “I love taking photos, and actually for the second album I’ll be heavily involved in kind of the artwork for the album. Kimberly and Reid can attest to it, I take pictures all the time. I think I annoy them sometimes. Hopefully they won’t get some contract I’ll have to sign every time I use pictures of theirs. [Kimberly] Approval processes have had to go into full affect.” The Band Perry traveled to Malibu, California, to work with one of their musical heroes on the project – producer Rick Rubin. Afterwards, they brought the music back home to Tennessee, where Dann Huff made “the songs to life with his production.” Pioneer features their latest single, “Better Dig Two,” and will be available on April 2nd.
