2020 CMA Fest Canceled Due to Coronavirus
On Tuesday, Country Music Association officials announced that they’re canceling the 2020 CMA Fest in Nashville due to the coronavirus pandemic. While recognizing in a statement that many fans will be “disappointed” by the event’s cancellation, the CMA explained, “As the world is still greatly affected by the spread of COVID-19, we cannot in good conscience risk the health and well-being of our fans, artists, staff, and country music community.”
The fest was supposed to hit multiple Nashville venues on June 4; it will next be staged in 2021 from June 10 to 13.
