A Family Road Trip Maybe Hard This Year

At the gas station.
If your planning a family getaway across the country this year, heads up The US could face a Summer gas shortage, not because of a lack of fuel – but due to a lack of truck drivers to haul the fuel around the country.
National Tank Truck Carriers say around 25% of the country’s tank trucks are sitting parked because there aren’t enough qualified tank truck drivers.
Many tank truck drivers left the business during the pandemic due to a lack of work. Everyone was staying home and didn’t need to fuel their cars.
Due to this shortage of drivers, experts say Summer gas prices could rise to around $3 per gallon… or some gas stations might not have a steady supply of fuel for customers ready to gas up for road trips
