ACM Awards Still Set to Take Place in April; Performers Announced

The Academy of Country Music said Wednesday that it still plans to hold the show in Las Vegas’ MGM Garden Arena next month.

They also announced that host Keith Urban will also perform at the show, as will Miranda Lambert, Lindsay Ell, Caylee Hammack, Elle King, Ashley McBryde and Tenille Townes. Despite the pledge, the ACM said they are “closely monitoring the situation” regarding the coronavirus outbreak, and, “We will take every precaution to ensure the safety of our artists, staff, crew, guests and attendees.”

The ceremony will broadcast live on CBS starting at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 5.
