Bourbon Fans in tears after seeing this party foul in Kentucky
Oh, This hurts to see and read and as a fan of bourbon, this can’t be good for business, Talk about a party foul!
A section of the O.Z. Tyler Distillery in Kentucky housing around 4,000 bourbon barrels collapsed after a severe thunderstorm hit the area on Monday night. Each barrel contains 53 gallons of bourbon; that’s around 212,000 gallons of bourbon affected by the collapse. Luckily, most of the barrels didn’t face major damage. The master distiller said the company’s oak barrels are “very strong.”
This isn’t the first form of alcohol abuse in Kentucky. Last year another bourbon warehouse in Kentucky collapsed, affecting around 10,000 barrels of booze.
