Burger King’s Impossible Whoppers Going Nationwide
If you’re on a plant-based diet, like me, or you’re just looking to cut back on their meat consumption, Burger King has heard you. Starting next week, the Impossible Whopper goes nationwide. The fast-food chain began testing out the meatless patty in a few select markets back in April, which turned out to be a great success. “It’s driven new guests into the restaurant,” says BK’s president for the Americas, Chris Finazzo.
If you’re interested in doing a side-by-side comparison, Door Dash is running a deal for Burger King app users from the August 8 launch until September 1st. The burger itself will sell for $5.59, about a buck more than the original.
Today is my 2 year anniversary of going plant-based and my health has never been better! And when it comes to the meatless burger patties, the Impossible brand is by far the best. I encourage you to give it a try and maybe even mix in a meatless Monday. Your heart will thank you.
