Carrie Underwood Meets 8-Year-Old Deaf Fan Who Went Viral Signing Her Song
Carrie Underwood made a fan’s dreams come true this past weekend when she finally met Savannah Dahan, the 8-year-old deaf girl who went viral earlier this year performing Underwood’s hit “The Champion” in sign language.
People reports that Underwood met the Maryland native at her Cry Pretty 360 tour stop in Washington, D.C. “Savannah! You bring so much joy to #TheChampion!” Underwood captioned an Instagram video that shows her singing the song a cappella as Dahan stands next to her and signs along. “Thank you for such a special moment last night in D.C.”
