Country Star Chris Lane Weds “Bachelor” Alum Lauren Bushnell
Country star Chris Lane married former The Bachelor contestant Lauren Bushnell on Friday in Nashville, Tennessee, according to Page Six. The wedding had a “secret garden” theme and the couple said their vows in front of 160 people. Bushnell almost walked down the aisle in 2016 with Ben Higgins when she was the last contestant standing on The Bachelor. “I could not be more excited for her,” Higgins said when she became engaged to the country singer.
Lane proposed to Bushnell when he played his song “Big, Big Plans” for her for the first time. He’d written the song for her. The couple met in 2015, but did not reconnect and hit it off until last year.
