July 13, 2020 – From Danny’s wife Kimmie:

Still doing well today. The XRay taken today shows no changes. Thats good. The doctor on call is a little more conservative and wants to keep the chest tube in one more day. The Lung is just a sliver below the cavity. So being extra cautious ( I am totally fine with this decision). If it’s still the same on tomorrow’s X-ray they will take the tube out tomorrow. If they get it out early enough he might be able to go home tomorrow , if not should be Tuesday. Thank you, we hope everyone’s having a great Sunday.

Please send your get well wishes to our afternoon drive host Danny Dwyer. Danny had a far less than festive holiday weekend after taking a terrible tumble off of a roof he was working on, falling nine feet to the ground.

Danny sustained 11 broken ribs, a broken collarbone, a punctured lung, a busted-up nasal cavity, and a serious eye injury that required 11 stitches. He is still in the hospital but doing well. While Danny heals, a familiar voice returns to The Bull as B-Dub fills in for him each afternoon from 2 until 7.
