Deputy Rescues Injured Owl

Washington County, Or. – A Washington County Sheriff’s deputy rescued an injured white owl from the median of the Sunset Highway near Highway 6 early today. Someone called  dispatchers to reported the injured bird.

Deputy Zach Majors put the owl in his patrol car, rushed it over to Dove Lewis Animal Hospital to be treated. It’s now recovering at the Portland Audubon Society.
