I use it all the time, but I don’t trust it.
- I don’t trust any corporate organization to spend the money to get a proper order optimization process in place. We’ve all worked for penny-pinching companies.
- There are actual, physical people at the restaurant. I always assume their needs are being met before me, the internet-order guy.
- Nobody orders and then just walks out. I have to assume that happens sometimes with online orders where they make the food and then don’t show up. Employees MUST trust it less, meaning they’ll be less reliable about it.
The list goes on and on, and the bottom line is, I don’t trust it. But I’ve literally never been burned by it. I wonder why my hesitation?
