Doing this for 20 minutes a day could help you have less stress

Life comes at us fast, every day we are presented with new challenges, new rules, and that can stress a lot of us out?  Did you know that 20 – 30 minutes outside can lower cortisol levels and reduce stress. You don’t even need to go outside for twenty minutes straight to get your “nature pill.”  You can break up your time in five or ten-minute increments as long as you are outside in a place that makes you feel connected to nature.

Now!  there are some rules to getting stress free, no hard exercise during your time outdoors &  you must stay off your electronic devices!  A new study shows after twenty minutes, cortisol levels can drop to their lowest rates and the benefits continue long after returning to the office or school.

So if your stuck in the office and can’t get out today, do what I do, pop up a picture on your computer screen of you favorite hideaway and glance at that for a few minutes and let your mind run free.
