Dolly Parton to Read Bedtime Stories to Kids in New “Goodnight With Dolly” Series

Need some help getting your kids to sleep? Never fear; Dolly Parton is here! On Monday, the country icon announced that she’ll be reading children’s bedtime stories in a new video series called Goodnight With Dolly. “We’ll be reading some stories from the Imagination Library,” Parton said in an announcement video, referencing her nonprofit work giving away free books to kids.

She also said the series will launch this coming Thursday, April 2, with Nashville Scene noting that the first episode will feature a reading of The Little Engine That Could.
