Driver Was Playing Pokémon Go On Eight Phones Simultaneously

Sure, many of us are guilty of multitasking behind the wheel. Generally, it’s messing with the radio or air conditioning, maybe adjusting your map app. While texting or talking on the phone will definitely get you in trouble, pulling off to the side of a busy road to play a video game isn’t exactly the best way to avoid a citation for distracted driving.

My son is BIG into Pokemon, especially the Pokemon GO app.  So I’ve been playing a ton, to try and keep up with what he’s into.  But this may be taking it a little too far… Police in Washington State found a man sitting in his car while parked on a road shoulder trying to catch them all on Pokémon Go, using eight phones simultaneously. Since he wasn’t actually moving at the time, the officer didn’t issue a ticket, but did yell at him, notes The Smoking Gun.

My only question is why 8 phones?
