First April Snow In Portland History
At PDX, where these things are measured, there has never been measurable snow in April before. Not since 1940, when they began keeping track, has snow ever accumulated to the point they can put a number on it.
So when they say “record-breaking” snow in April, the record they’re referring to is zero.
