Portland, Ore. – The University of Portland is saying goodbye this morning to a freshman whose body was found two weeks after he went missing. KXL’s Brett Reckamp has the latest.

FUNERAL MASS FOR UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND STUDENT OWEN KLINGER TO BE HELD WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30, AT 10 A.M. – CHILES CENTER ON UP CAMPUS

WHAT:   Family members, friends, fellow students and community members will join the University of Portland for a funeral mass celebrating the life of first-year student Owen Klinger, who was found deceased on October 20.  Owen had been missing from his family, friends and UP community since October 6.  Rev. Mark Poorman, C.S.C., President of the University of Portland, will preside over the religious services, which are open to the public.  A scholarship fund has been established in memory of Owen at:  giving.up.edu/owen.

WHEN:                 Wednesday, October 30, at 10 a.m. (**Early arrival strongly encouraged. )
