Gwen Stefani Helps Blake Shelton Show Off Mullet Progress in Quarantine

Last week, Blake Shelton announced that he’d be passing the time while self-isolating at home by growing back his mullet. And on Thursday, he showed off his progress on the ‘do alongside girlfriend Gwen Stefani. “Quarantine mullet update March 26…Gwen Stefani has decided to take it to the next level: Stripes,” Shelton wrote alongside a GIF that shows Stefani running her fingers through his longer locks, with stripes shorn into the side of his head. He also captioned a second pic with, “Our first quarantine photo shoot… should’ve been the ‘Nobody But You’ cover… Damn it!”

Stefani has long campaigned for Shelton to bring back his mullet. She said back in September on Late Night With Seth Meyers, “I never, never thought I’d get the opportunity to be with someone that has a mullet. Or had a mullet. Can you believe it? He actually had that haircut! He thought that was great.”
