Here’s the Full List of Nominees for the 53rd Annual CMA Awards
For the second time in four years, Maren Morris is the most-nominated artist for the CMA Awards. The 29-year-old leads the 2019 pack with six nods, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Girl and Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year for the LP’s title track. She’s also up for Musical Event of the Year for her Brothers Osborne collaboration, “All My Favorite People,” but missed out on an Entertainer of the Year nod. Speaking of Brothers Osborne, they’re close behind with four nominations, while Dierks Bentley, Luke Combs, Kacey Musgraves, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, and Eric Church walked away with three nods apiece.
Underwood and Church are also the only two artists nominated for both Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year (Underwood for Cry Pretty, Church for Desperate Man). The first round of nominees were announced on Wednesday’s Good Morning America by Jimmie Allen and Ashley McBryde, while New Artist of the Year nominee Midland revealed the rest via Billboard later in the day.
After co-hosting the CMAs alongside Brad Paisley for the past 11 years, Underwood will co-host this year’s ceremony alongside special guest hosts Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire. The 2019 CMAs will take place November 13 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, airing live on ABC starting at 8 p.m. ET.
