Houston Area Pets Up For Adoption Now In Portland Area
Washington County, Ore. – Here’s your chance to rescue a new puppy from the Houston area and you only have to go Portland’s westside. Mutts and Meows Rescue are back in Beaverton today through Friday with dozens little fur babies that need forever homes. They’ll be in Hillsboro this weekend. Volunteer organizer Cyndi Lombari explains they love coming back to our area because Portland is so welcoming and they always have a high adoption success rate here. One of the reasons why the pet population is exploding in Houston is because of the heat. It’s always warm down in the south and many animals are over-breeding. Also spraying and neutering pets is not as popular in Texas, as it is in other parts of the country according to Cyndi. Listen to our interview here:

Mutts and Meows Rescue will be Beaverton on Wednesday, 10/9, Thursday, 10/10 and Friday, 10/11 and Hillsboro on Saturday, 10/12 and Sunday, 10/13 for a special adoption event. Our last Oregon adoption events in August were a great success thanks to everyone that volunteered.
We will have lots of puppies and dogs in need of a loving, furever home.
They are making a special trip from Houston, Texas and we are hoping they will all find a happy new life in the Beaverton and Hillsboro area.

We especially need lots of volunteers on Wednesday, October 9th at 6pm. We will be getting to the store for the first time and need lots of help unloading and setting up for the dogs.
