I Am So Thankful For The Delivery Industry Right Now

I think we might just wanna take a quick moment and be thankful for all the people who work for FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, and all the smaller deliverers right now, because they absolutely must be working their hinds off right now.

We all get things delivered all year long, but really, even the most avid online shoppers must do… what?  4x their normal purchasing during the holidays?  We all hear tales of how delivery folks are stressed to the breaking point just under normal conditions, and I have to figure it’s a nightmare right now.  I’m sure they staff up for the holidays just like any other company, but think of when your company “staffs up.”  They bring in a bunch of rookies who need a bunch of hand-holding, and it’s sometimes as much hassle as it’s worth.

So I maintain…  take a moment and say an extra thank you to your delivery-people this month.  They’re earning it.
