ICYDK – Albina Moves Forward, WSU Studies CBG, & New Burgervilles
The roof over I-5 idea? We got the money to start planning it. The feds offered us $800K, and the City Council voted to take it, so now they start looking at how to connect the streets and the utilities and the timeline and all that. The full project, however, will probably cost $2B, so… expect some bake sales or something before they start building.
Researchers at Washington State have completed a study on a new cannabis product called CBG. It’s one of the first studies on this, despite what you may have ever heard about it. Here’s the surprising part… it probably reduces stress, but may also enhance your memory. Washington State University, the birthplace of Super Stoners.
And finally (Super Stoners will probably like this), Wilsonville is about to be the home of the first new Burgerville in about a decade. Yeaaaah, forget In ‘N’ Out, forget Chick-Fil-A, this is real burger news. It’ll open next Wednesday near the Costco there in Wilsonville, and will be selling $1.99 cheeseburgers for a few days to celebrate. God Bless America.
