ICYDK – Best Coffee City, Naked Bike Ride, & Oaks Park Oktoberfest

Take a little bow, Portland, your coffee is the best in America.  Wallethub did it, and  measured things like average Yelp rankings, how many coffee shops we have, and how much we spend per year.  Also, have you noticed, there’s a lot of bikini baristas?  They didn’t say they factored that in, but I’ll bet their credit card stubs tell a different story.

Speaking of that, guess what time of year it is?  It’s World Naked Bike Ride Day this weekend.  Now, you might remember I reported a couple months ago they were canceling that because nobody volunteered to plan it?  A different group stepped up, and now it’s happening Saturday afternoon at 3:00p at Colonel Summers Park.

But if that doesn’t feel like your cup of tea, and you still wanna party, then Oaks Park Oktoberfest is also happening this weekend.  Bring out your inner German and enjoy German beer, Polka Music, Wiener Dog races, and of course, the Chicken dance competition.  I’m gonna be hosting on Sunday from 2:00p to 4:00p, and for the competition, I absolutely can be bribed with bratwurst.
