In Case You Didn’t Know – 05-05-2023

Outside magazine has picked the 18 best state parks in the US, and Ecola State Park, which is next to Cannon Beach, has made the list.  It’s on the list for the landscape of it, which they describe it as “moody and dramatic and drop-dead gorgeous.”  Moody.  When something in Oregon is beautiful, it’s called moody.  Awww, Oregon.  We’re so emo.

You’re gonna hear this story in the news today, some lawmakers down in Salem did another walk-out.  In Oregon law, the senate can’t do business if not enough of them are present.  The issues they’re debating are obviously controversial; that’s why they’re doing it.  YOU just gotta decide if you support it when your side does this, ‘cause they will.

And finally, it’s always exciting when one of these pops up…  I don’t know why; the novelty should have worn off by now, but apparently not.  Mall 205 is possibly gonna be the home of the next Chick Fil-A.  There isn’t one actually IN Portland yet, Oregon City, Gresham, Vancouver, few on the West Side, but this may be the actual first Portland location.
