Kane Brown’s October 18 concert in L.A. is being postponed after longtime drummer Kenny Dixon was killed in a car accident on Saturday at the age of 27. “Kane Brown’s concert scheduled for this Friday, October 18, 2019, at Staples Center in Los Angeles has been postponed,” the venue tweeted on Monday. “Our heartfelt condolences go out to Kane, his entire team and to the family of his longtime drummer Kenny Dixon for their tragic loss this weekend.”

People notes that the show will now take place on January 9, 2020. The event was announced back in July as a 20th anniversary celebration concert for the venue. Brown himself also tweeted, “I want to thank everyone for your outpouring of support and understanding and working with us as we reschedule the Staples Center 20th anniversary show.”
