Keith Urban takes his talents to a crazy pool party in the official music video for his latest single, “Polaroid.” The two-and-a-half-minute visual, which arrived Friday, opens with Urban playing his six-string poolside as the party’s guests appear frozen, as if in a photograph. Eventually, they come to life and start getting rowdy and romantic, with couples breaking into spontaneous make-out sessions. “I really connected with the song,” Urban says in a statement. “I used to have this house that I lived in with a few guys in my band and at some point, someone gave us this Polaroid camera…We had all of these different pictures posted on a big board and I so clearly saw that the minute I heard the song.”
The track is the Urban’s first since “God Whispered Your Name,” which dropped earlier this year. Both will appear on his next, as-yet-untitled studio album.
