Just in time for your coronavirus quarantine, Keith Urban’s latest music video dramatically tells a story of moving from a dark, lonely place to being in the light. Billboard reports that the four-minute visual for Urban’s “God Whispered Your Name,” directed by Jennifer Massaux, was partially shot underneath a Nashville warehouse. “[It’s] literally the darkest, dank and smelly place,” Urban says. “We spent the whole morning there shooting everything that you now see in the first part of the video.”

Urban and the crew then got to shoot in a much nicer location for the second half of the video: atop a boulder with a beautiful view outside of L.A. However, Urban admits, “Playing guitar atop a boulder is definitely not a great idea. You just kinda lose yourself in what you’re doing, and every minute or two you realize what you’re doing, and you think, ‘I better not fall off this big-a** boulder.'” “God Whispered Your Name” is expected to serve as the first single off Urban’s as-yet-unannounced next album.
