Miranda Lambert has shared a third song off her upcoming solo album, the blunt-voiced rocker “Mess With My Head.”

The two-and-a-half minute track, co-written by Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby, features lyrics like, “You treat my mind like a hotel room / And I know why I gave the keys to you / I let you mess with my, mess with my head.”

Lambert said about the song in a statement, “‘Mess With My Head’ is a departure from anything that I’ve done before. It has a real rock edge. Part of that comes from my co-writers, Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby, and the other part of that comes from spending time in New York City. Being there has put a new energy into my music and my writing.” “Mess With My Head” follows the release of “Locomotive” and lead single “It All Comes Out in the Wash.” Lambert has yet to officially announce her next album, but she’s revealed it’s expected to arrive this fall.
