Luke Combs has hit the country music industry like a hurricane full of undeniable talent grabbing all the big awards lately.

The superstar was just revealed as the recipient of the Nashville Songwriter Awards’ Songwriter-Artist of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.

Ray Fulcher, who co-wrote “I Got Away With You,” among other songs calls Combs “one of the best songwriters I’ve ever written with. His instincts are so good as far as what he wants to say and how he wants to say it.

Fun fact.  Taylor Swift has won that award seven times!
