2022 “TAKE A SOLDIER FISHING/VETERANS/ACTIVE DUTY” events in Oregon:
Take a Soldier Fishing, Portland Chapter, is proud to announce that the Hagg Lake event to take veterans and active duty military and their immediate family members fishing for the day, will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022.
Participants and volunteers with or without boats must pre-register for the event. Go to www.takeasoldierfishing.org and complete the appropriate registration form.
Participation is open to all veterans and active-duty military from any branch of the armed services. Volunteers are not required to have a military background.
The Henry Hagg Lake event is near Forest Grove Oregon off of Highway 47. Go to Area C to check-in. Check-in begins at 7:00 AM, with lunch starting at 11:30, door prize drawing at 12:00 noon (for veterans or active duty military), and event officially complete by 4:00 PM.
