Maren Morris’ “The Bones” Sets Record for Longest #1 Run by Female Artist on Hot Country Songs Chart

Maren Morris is breaking records with her hit single, “The Bones.”

The track just notched its 11th week at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs–making it the longest #1 run ever by a solo female artist in the chart’s history. The outlet also notes that Bebe Rexha’s Florida Georgia Line collaboration “Meant to Be” holds the all-time record, with 50 weeks spent at #1 in 2017-2018.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift previously spent 10 weeks atop the chart with her 2012 hit, “We Are Never Getting Back Together.”

“The Bones” follows Morris’ previous #1 solo hits, “I Could Use a Love Song” in 2018 and “Girl” in 2019.
