Morgan Wallen Ordered to Stay Quiet

Yesterday Morgan Wallen took to his social media pages  breaking the rules of his doctors to alert his fans he is out for the next 6 weeks with Vocal Fold Trauma

Morgan also has had to cancel his scheduled performance on Thursday’s ACM Awards show and the  ACMlifiting Lives event and other -related events.

The controversy started after he canceled an April 23 appearance in Oxford, MS, at the last minute, citing vocal problems. He subsequently went on 10 days of vocal rest before playing three shows in Florida over the weekend.

As a result, Kenny Chesney will step in for him at the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam in Florida and the Carolina Country Music Fest in South Carolina. Morgan and his team hope to reschedule missed appearances for the 2024 festivals.  Other affected dates on Wallen’s “One Night at a Time World Tour” include stadium shows in Hershey, PA; East Rutherford, NJ; Houston; Atlanta; Pittsburgh; and Philadelphia.

Wallen’s first scheduled concerts outside the six-week window come June 22 and 23 at Chicago’s Wrigley Park.

Wallen assured fans that all postponed dates will be rescheduled. Also, a 30-day refund window will be made available to ticket holders upon the announcement of new dates
