Ugh, how much of this crap is gonna make the cut?
We at Tony, Jake, & Jenn recently switched up working environments, “upgrading” ourselves from a cubicle to an office. It sounds all well and good, but sadly that means we have to move, and moving… is suck.
First off, there’s less storage now. So automatically, some stuff is gonna have to get purged. Sadly, the only things I keep are sentimental gifts from listeners, and I don’t know how to pick and choose which sentimental thing is more sentimental than the other sentimental things. So I’m up that creek.
Then there’s the stuff that actually can go away, but I just don’t wanna do it. I’m too lazy to move.
Then there’s the effort that has to go into decorating. Jenn is the spearhead of this effort, and she’s really excited about it, so I want to do what I can to support her dream on that. But she really wants to decorate, and she’s gonna want opinions, and I don’t have the heart to tell her that the only thing I want is 700 My Little Pony posters everywhere. How do you broach that obsession with co-workers?
*sigh* My life is full of such nonsense-complaints.
