My Favorite moments from The ACM’s

The 58th annual Academy Of Country Music Awards did not disappoint me, but maybe a few others!  but overall I was pleased with the show that aired for the 2nd year in a row on Amazon Prime Video from the Home of the Dallas Cowboys in Frisco Texas.

Here is a look at my top moments from the 58th Annual ACM’s

Cole Swindell winning not once, but twice for Song and Single of the Year!  Those were two tough categories so I didn’t even participate to say what my favorite was, But truly it’s a song that will be around forever and I’m thankful that Cole brought Jo Dee Messina back into the format, she disappeared  to start a family and I’m happy to see here back in Action

Dolly Parton! Truly what a Gem and funny, man she can deliver that’s for sure.

Ed Sheeran and Luke Combs Duet WOW glad to see those two connect and I’m hoping we see more of that down the road cause it was incredible

Lainey Wilson has worked hard and has paid her dues, and now her hard work is finally paying off, . Walking away with 4 ACMS incredible and she delivered the line of the night               “If you Gonna Be A Dreamer, Ya Better Be A Do-er”

Garth Brooks, Mentioning Country Radio, Day in and day out we play the music that unites us all and it starts with Radio, so Thanks Garth

I was so excited to see Morgan Wallen win Male Vocalist of the Year, He for sure has had his ups and downs and fought his way back to prove himself, I’m just  bummed he couldn’t be there because of his current medical emergency

The Man with The Golden Voice Chris Stapleton walking away in SHOCK of picking up his first Entertainer of the Year and dedicating it to his kids brought me to tears, we give up a lot in the industry and miss some important things in our lives and he knows all about it.

The performances were fantastic right from the start with Keith Urban Kickin’ Things off, Kane Brown brought the gun show to town, and Jelly Roll & Lainey together was a great mix. Hardy set the stage on fire and went HARD with his new single Truck Bed, and Dolly showed us why she is the Queen of Country and now A Rock N Roll Hall Of Famer

So from my early predictions, I went 4 for 6 , not too bad.  I hope you enjoyed the show if you missed it, it runs again tonight for free at 5pm on Amazon Prime
