Oregon Vape Ban Goes Into Effect Today

SALEM, Ore.–

Starting TODAY Oregon will officially start banning flavored vaping products. The SIX-month ban covers both nicotine and T-H-C products. Many local stores were packed Monday with last minute buyers. Some found great deals on flavored juices up to 85% off.  Luxury Vapors in Milwaukie marked product down 35 percent.  Owner Mike Lamourex hopes he can stay in business .  half of his store will be empty because of having to remove all juice flavored products.  Customers told KXL they wouldn’t go back to smoking to support big tobacco and the government.  One man said he stocked up on all kinds of products.

Store owners who violate the ban will get a warning first. After that they’ll face fines of up to $500 each day. The O-L-C-C will do random checks starting today.
