Power Out For Thousands In West Portland
Portland, Ore. – More than 3,000 PGE customers were without power in parts of Northwest and Southwest Portland last night. Electricity was knocked out just before 10pm, after a substation at Southwest 17th and Clay went down. PGE was working to find out what happened. Fire crews in Northwest Portland reported they were rescuing people trapped in elevators. It didn’t take long for PGE to fully restore power to customers.
