Rhett Akins Welcomes Newborn Son 1 Month After Son Thomas Rhett Welcomed Newborn Girl

Country singer-songwriter Rhett Akins became a grandpa again last month–and a father again last week. March 13, the 50-year-old Akins and wife Sonya welcomed their first child together, a boy named Brody James. “Friday the 13th is a pretty magical day. Our little angel arrived at 7:49 p.m. weighing 7.2 pounds and 19 inches,” Sonya wrote on Instagram. “He is perfect in every way!!!! Welcome Brody James Akins.”
Rhett and Sonya married in 2017, while 29-year-old son Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren, adopted first daughter Willa Gray in 2015 before welcoming second daughter Ada James in 2017 and third daughter Lennon Love on February 10, 2020.
