If you happen to be a AT&T Customer, you’ll love this news. Are you fed up and tired of those random calls from your hometown area code thinking it might be someone you know only to find out its a robo call. Well AT& T has a solution to it. This past Tuesday it became the first major U.S. wireless company to automatically block robocalls for its customers and the best of all, it’s free.

Think about this How many robocalls do you think were placed last month alone?  Ready for this  More than 4.3 billion, both legal and illegal, were placed during the month of June.  In a way very similar to how email providers scan for spam messages, robocall blocking uses algorithms and network scanning to identify those pesky unwanted calls. AT&T says current customers will be notified by text when the service is active, now if we can just get Verizon,T-Mobile and Sprint on Board I’m sure a lot of us would be much happier
