Saying Goodbye to the end of an era
History was made in NYC as we notice It’s the end of an era. This week, officials removed the last operating payphone in the city. that stood at 7th and 50th in Time square The phone kiosk was carted off from its midtown Manhattan location on Monday and will be placed in a museum.
NYC has been gradually replacing payphones with Wi-Fi hotspots that allow people to access the internet or charge their phones.
