Tony was born and raised in the small town of Scott Depot, West Virginia. His journey in radio began when he was a psychotherapist. Wait, what happened? Yes, he was a therapist and was asked to do a call in show they called, “Talk To Tony.” He eventually decided to pursue radio as a full time career. And that meant moving to Texas!
Yes after his parent paid for him to get a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree he chose to become a DJ. His parents were THRILLED! He is also an ordained minister, and actually attended a Baptist seminary. He quickly learned that the seminary had a policy against drinking beer. So, he quickly became a Methodist. He has worked for top rated morning shows in Dallas, Miami, and Seattle. He now lives in a floating home in Scappoose with his Great Dane Patsy Cline.
In his spare time you’ll find Tony running, working out, sitting on the sundeck of his floating home, and selling insurance. Oh yeah, not only has he been a counselor and pastor…he is a licensed insurance agent, a licensed realtor, and once sold cars. Other than that he knew exactly what he wanted to do when he grew up.
He gives great advice, because he has made every mistake known to mankind. You can hear about these mistakes in his podcast, “Living Life to The Foolest.” Tony says the only thing he has done right is having three beautiful kids! His oldest is Laikin, then there is Libby, and the youngest is his movie buddy David. You can follow Tony on social media by clicking on: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
His favorite artists are Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and Old Dominion. He is also a big fan of Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line, and the list goes on forever! He and his son have seen nearly every Marvel Universe movie, but his favorite movies include: Dumb & Dumber, Good Will Hunting, Bagger Vance, and A River Runs Through It.
