Spider-Man: Far From Home Movie Review
Tom Holland is, in my opinion, the best Spider-Man in franchise history! And if you need evidence, look no further than the latest installment of the web-slinging saga, Spider-Man: Far From Home. It picks up where Avengers: Endgame left off. I don’t want to divulge too many details because this story is full of twists. But know that Zendaya brilliantly plays MJ and Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio is spot on.
After what they’re calling the “blip” incident, from the Avengers movies, Peter Parker is off to Europe with his classmates for a school trip when things get sideways. After a posthumous message from Tony Stark, he squares off in a battle that is more than meets the eye. The action is fresh and modern and the story will keep you guessing throughout, including the romantic tension between Peter & MJ.
My son and I were on the edge of our seats the whole time, even after the credits where there are two scenes worth staying in your seats for. And I’m also a fan of how they used a couple of iconic songs that you may never hear the same way again… Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” and AC/DC’s “Back In Black.” Listen for those moments! This movie will give you all the feels!
Marvel’s box office domination is far from over and this film proves it. One of the best Spider-Man films to date, a must see!
