Taylor Swift’s New Song ‘The Man’ Is So Good and So Genius

I’m not afraid to admit I love me some Taylor Swift. She might literally be the most genius artist on Earth.

Have you seen the music video for her new song ‘The Man’ yet? Take a look…

The song is good – they usually are. But I usually look forward to the music videos because this is where you get to truly see the genius that Taylor is. Did you happen to catch all those Easter Eggs? Here’s a few of them that I caught:

• The chair umpire in the tennis scenes is played by Swift’s dad, Scott Swift.
• At the end of the video, we hear “The Man” speak to director Swift. The voice of “The Man” is revealed to be Dwayne Johnson! SO cool!
• Early on in the video, the character stops to go the bathroom on a wall at “13th Street station,” a nod to Swift’s favorite number.
• Around the station sign we see the names of Swift’s albums, from Fearless to Reputation.
• A sign also reads, “Missing: If Found Return to Taylor Swift.” This is a nod to Swift’s battle for the rights to her own music. (So genius, y’all)
• There’s also a sign on the wall that shows no scooters are allowed, a reference to her battle with Scooter Braun.

Don’t at me here. It’s a good song and a great video and you know it!
