They’ve been a long time gone, but the Dixie Chicks have released a new song called “Gaslighter.”  Are we ready to make nice or still not welcoming them back?

On Wednesday, The Dixie Chicks released “Gaslighter,” their first new single in 14 years and the title track off their upcoming album. Co-written and produced with Jack Antonoff, the “fiery anthem” is “inspired by divorce,” writes Rolling Stone, “particularly Natalie Maines’ prolonged legal battle to separate from her ex-husband, actor Adrian Pasdar.” The Chicks simultaneously released the song’s video, which features archival clips of old Hollywood performances, Coney Island getaways and other images of vintage Americana, along with the trio singing in three-part harmony.

So my question is simple, heck yeah or hard pass?
