If you have teens in the house, and they are racing daily on their Xbox as my son does, that necessarily doesn’t mean they actually know how to drive just yet. So I want to make all the parents out there aware of something really cool for the kids that is coming to PIR  – aka  Portland International Raceway to help them learn to drive.

My youngest son Tanner is ready to learn and go, so this is something we are definitely looking into for him and for his safety. Most people don’t know the statistics, So let me throw some at ya    Car crashes are the leading killer of American teens from ages 15 – 20, with more than 5,000 teens involved in a fatal crash each year and an additional 196,000 injured. Simple driving errors, avoidable but common among inexperienced teens, cause the majority of fatal accidents.

So here is some info to check out and maybe sign your kid or kids up to learn the correct way to drive. and who knows maybe we will bump into each other
