Not very sweet, in my opinion. Now, keep in mind that I vegan and may not be able to enjoy this new flavor. Believe it or not, regular Oreos are vegan. But this new flavor is Buttered Pop Corn. Oreo has announced plans to drop a new buttered popcorn flavor of the popular cookie this year.
The new flavor was announced by food blogger The Junk Food Aisle on Instagram last week, who wrote, “I got to try one of these last month without being told what flavor it was, and I would have put all my money on it being ‘Pineapple’ after just licking the creme.” According to Pop Sugar, the product packaging for the Buttered Popcorn Oreos suggests the cookies are made with golden Oreos and yellow creme filling. While Oreo hasn’t officially confirmed the rumors, the flavor is reportedly “coming soon.”
