“The Git Up” singer Blanco Brown recently revealed that one of his favorite songs growing up was Tim McGraw’s “Don’t Take the Girl.” Now McGraw has returned the favor by recording a new duet of his 1994 single alongside Brown.

“I saw a story recently about @blancobrown growing up in Atlanta, spending summers in the country with his mom and aunty. He mentioned that ‘Don’t Take The Girl’ was one of the first country songs he was turned on to,” McGraw wrote Wednesday alongside video of their collaboration. “When I heard our paths were finally gonna cross in Australia, I reached out…and this is how it went.” McGraw also declared about Brown, “I’m a fan.” Meanwhile, Brown tweeted, “I still can’t believe this happened. This moment is priceless!!!” He also told McGraw, “Thank you for making dreams reality.”
