Today Is D.B. Cooper Day
It was 50 years ago today that Dan Cooper (more commonly known as D.B. Cooper) got on a plane, produced a “bomb,” demanded $200,000 and four parachutes, escaped with the flight crew, and then jumped out over the Columbia River and disappeared.
$6K was found 9 years later washed up on the shores of the River. But no further evidence has ever been found.
Did he die? Did he survive and get away with it?
