Vegan Bride Doesn’t Invite Meat Eating Guests to Wedding

“… we don’t want to host murderers at our wedding”

People are reacting to a recent Reddit post from a vegan bride who decided not to have any meat eaters come to her wedding.  The post said, “When ‘family’ tries to guilt you into letting them come to your fully vegan wedding even though they are omnivores. [They] were told they are not invited to my wedding because we don’t want to host murderers at our wedding which is supposed to be one of the happiest days of our lives.” After people criticized the move, the bride stood by her decision.

The bride is not sorry because she and her spouse-to-be were “consistently attacked” by people who eat meat.  Some meat-eating bridesmaids said they were uninvited to the ceremony. They had already purchased their dresses.

This is ridiculous and petty. It sounds like her friendships are few anyways so why not garner up some social awareness on her vegan ways. No vegans have ever shined a light on their non meat eating ways right?
