Eddie met Bobby Bones more than 10 years ago when they worked together at ME Television. Constantly working together thinking up new bits and ideas for the show, the pair formed a parody and cover band called The Raging Idiots. Bobby often brought “the band” on his national radio show, and after more than a decade of friendship, Eddie finally became an official member of The Bobby Bones Show in 2013.

Born and raised in a traditional Mexican/American home, Eddie loves listening to all kinds of music; his favorites are Pearl Jam, Jimmy Buffett, and Garth Brooks. His passion for music inspired him to learn how to play several instruments, including piano and guitar. A natural comedian and born performer, partnering with Bobby to form the parody band The Raging Idiotswas a no-brainer.Since joining the show, the duo and their hilarious parodies have grown into a substantial and sidesplittingly part of each morning’s shenanigans. The Raging idiots, is just one of the morning show’s hugely popular, as well as entertaining, charity initiatives. The two members travel across the U.S. and have raised millions of dollars for various charities. The band also releasedThe Raging Kidiots: Kiddy Up!in 2016, which debuted as the top downloaded children’s album.

In addition to his role as half of the popular parody band, Eddie is the “voice of the dad” on the show. Married in 2005, he has two boys who are often brought up on the air, especially when the gang needs the “parent’s point of view.” During the pregnancy of their youngest son, Eddie and his wife openly shared their experiences with the listeners, even calling into the show from the hospital while his wife was in labor.

In between the time he spends with his family and the band’s busy tour schedule, Eddie participates in several local charity events including Cars for a Cure and the Annual Standup to Cancer. He has also provides freelance production for organizations such as Make a Wish Foundation.
