Washington County, Ore. – A man facing Measure Eleven sex crimes charges is on the run. Authorities say he cut off his ankle monitor. Josiah Rosales was last seen near 179th and Southwest Breckenridge Lane in Aloha. Deputies, detectives, and a K9 unit swarmed the area, but there was no sign of the 29-year-old. Rosales was arrested in July, and last month he posted ten percent of his $1,200,000 bail.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, October 22, 2019, Washington County Sheriff’s detectives were notified that Josiah Rosales, 29 of Aloha, cut off his court-ordered ankle monitor.

Mr. Rosales was arrested in July of 2019 for the below-listed crimes.  On September 16, 2019, Mr. Rosales posted ten percent of his $1,250,000 bail and was released from the Washington County Jail. Mr. Rosales had several conditions associated with his release, to include wearing a GPS ankle monitor at all times.

This afternoon, detectives received notification that Mr. Rosales had cut off the ankle monitor. Detectives, deputies and a canine unit searched for Mr. Rosales but were unable to locate him.

Mr. Rosales currently has felony warrant out for his arrest. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public to call 911 if they see Mr. Rosales or know where he is.  The Washington County Sheriff’s Office urges the public not to contact Mr. Rosales or attempt to detain him if they come in contact with him.
